If there is a company at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show that has undergone a rapid expansion, it has to be Cavalier Genève. Over the past couple of years, the company has moved into its own factory, set up its own distribution center, and has undergone a significant brand expansion in the portfolio. If you looked at the Cavalier Genève booth, you would see the efforts of these labors coming to fruition. If you watch our interview with Cavalier Genève founder Sebastien Decoppet, you can't help but notice the activity going on behind him. This year at PCA 2023, Cavalier Genève brought a new blend to its Inner Circle brand and showcased its annual Cavalier Genève Limited Edition Cigar.

Rocky Patel Premium Cigars not only had the biggest booth, but it had one of the busiest ones at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. This is no different than previous years, and what is also no different is Rocky Patel himself has always made himself available to talk to the Cigar Coop Coalition team. This year Rocky Patel had several projects for the trade show, but two stand out. His special project is Rocky Patel's most premium offering to date, priced at $100.00 per cigar. In addition, the company is also bringing a project that incorporates tobacco from Paraguay into the blend.

The La Gloria Cubana brand was back at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show for the first time since 2019. At that time, La Gloria Cubana was focused on innovation. Over the past few years, La Gloria Cubana has shifted some of its attention to returning somewhat to its roots in terms of its packaging and its associated cigars. This year, as a part of Forged Cigar Company, La Gloria Cubana brought three new releases into PCA - including a regular production cigar, a limited edition cigar, and a sampler.

This year would be one of the biggest for Jake Wyatt as the company unveiled a new line, made some significant packaging changes, and created some new merchandising options. All of the things being shown off by Jake Wyatt were quite impressive, but to me, the one thing that really stands out about Jake Wyatt is the focus the company has on educating both its consumers and its retailers. This was evident throughout the presentation at the Jake Wyatt booth in 2023.

Casa 1910 Cigars is a cigar and lifestyle brand based out of Mexico. The company was founded by Manolo Santiago, Jamie Baer, and Serge Bolling. The brand captures the history and pride surrounding the Mexican Revolution, which occurred in 1910. In 2021, the company came to the Premium Cigar Association (PCA)Trade Show with its first cigar, Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado. Since then, the company has expanded to eight cigar offerings - across three collections. Of note is that each of these eight cigars features a different blend. When our team caught up with Casa 1910 at the 2023 PCA Trade Show , we discussed the evolution of this portfolio. The company also came into the Trade Show with its first limited edition cigar - the Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado Reserva 2020.
