On Prime Time Special Edition 129, we wrap up our Aging Experiment on the Aladino Corojo Reserva Figurado and introduce our first cut of Cigar Company Power Ratings.
With the Aging Experiment, we pick a cigar and smoke it, we smoke it 6 months later, and then another 6 months after that. Tonight we revisit the Aladino Corojo Reserva Figurado for the third time and see how it aged over a full year.
Plus we introduce our Cigar Company Power Rankings. Much like College Sports has a Top 25, and how we see many pro teas ranked, we will take the same concept and apply it to cigar companies. Tonight Bear and Coop select 10 companies and attempt to determine who is topping the rankings based on our criteria.

Plus we reflect on the life and career of Coolio and Loretta Lynn.

The Smoking Syndicate Roundtable reconvenes tonight as we smoke the 2021 edition of the Alec Bradley Fine & Rare – the Alec Bradley Fine & Rare BC-(13)4EV.
The Alec Bradley Fine & Rare is an annual release in which each release incorporates ten tobaccos. Over the years, the cigar has come in a variety of different blends and size. Sometimes a new blend is unveiled, and other times a previous blend is re-released with a different vintage of tobaccos. This year, the BC-(13)4EV is a new blend. It was originally targeted for a late 2021 release, but supply chain issues delayed things.

On Episode 243, we welcome honored to welcome one of the true icons of the cigar industry, Tim Ozgener.
Tim’s family founded the legendary CAO brand and it changed the cigar industry as we know it. Tim stepped away from the business 12 years ago, but this year he has come back – with an all new company Ozgener Family Cigars and is a partner with Crowned Heads. Tonight we will discuss Tim’s journey in the cigar business, some of great stories, and talk about doing it all over again.
