Plasencia released the Cosecha 149, which means harvest in Spanish, at this year’s PCA trade show in 2021. The new cigar line marks the 149th harvest from the Plasencia’s farm in Honduras. The Cosecha 149 is made up of 100% Honduran tobacco from their 2014 crop. The tobaccos are from the Jamastran, Talanga and Olancho regions with the Jamastran tobacco being proprietary corojo and the Talanga and Olancho being criollo. The cigar is released in 3 sizes in 10 count boxes.

The annual tradition is back for the sixth time!
Join us for our annual “Big Game” pre-game show. Once again we will have Jonathan Carney, Vice President of Sales of La Flor Dominicana, to preview the big matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams
This year the “Big Game” is in Tampa, Florida. La Flor Dominicana is also a company that has a tradition of creating a special cigar for “The Big Game” and we will learn about this year’s installment. While Cigar Coop was not in attendance at Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) 2022, we were able to chat with some of our good friends in the media. Today we are joined by Aaron Loomis of Developing Palates and the Prime Time Show and John "Cigar Surgeon" McTavish from Developing Palates who took time out of their very busy schedules to give us some updates on the happenings at TPE.
