PCA 2021: Debonaire House (Audio)
Monday Aug 16, 2021
Monday Aug 16, 2021
From the 2021 PCA Trade Show, we talk to Phil Zanghi III of Debonaire House.
Phil Zanghi's Debonaire House brands were once again a part of the De Los Reyes booth at the 2021 Premium Cigar Association Trade (PCA) Show. It's symbolic of the relationship the two companies have had over the years. Debonaire House Cigars are produced at De Los Reyes, but under Zanghi's supervision. For the 2021 Trade Show, Debonaire House "held the line" - in other words there were no new products introduced. Debonaire House's portfolio remains intact with its two main brands - Debonaire and Indian Motorcycle cigars. As we caught up with Zanghi, he seemed quite pleased being back at this year's PCA show.

The Smoking Syndicate: CAO Vision (Audio)
Monday Aug 16, 2021
Monday Aug 16, 2021
At the end of 2020, CAO re-released the Vision with a few tweaks. The original cigar, released before CAO's acquisition by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group, was a Dominican blend cigar in an interesting box that was fitted with LED lighting that glowed blue when you opened the lid. The new CAO Vision is also a different blend using a Cameroon wrapper, Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and Nicaraguan fillers from Jalapa and Esteli. It is also only available in one size, churchill, versus the 3 sizes of the original blend.

Monday Aug 16, 2021
From the 2021 PCA Trade Show, we talk to Ian Reith of Dapper Cigar Company.
f there is one cigar company that would be at the top of the list for the best-kept secret in the cigar industry it’s Dapper Cigar Company. Dapper is run by Ian Reith, who is someone who has a passion and understanding for cigar making. He has teamed up with the Nicaraguan American Cigars S.A. (NACSA) factory for a good portion of his cigar portfolio. NACSA is a factory used by the likes of Steve Saka and Christian Eiroa, and from what our team has seen, Reith is getting excellent tobaccos and working on excellent blends. There were several newer items being showcased at the 2021 Trade Show – some being introduced for the first time and others having a place in the PCA Trade Show spotlight for the first time.

Sunday Aug 15, 2021
From the 2021 PCA Trade Show, we talk to Rocky Patel of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars.
There perhaps is no man who can deliver as much information in three minutes as Rocky Patel, the owner and founder of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars - and that's exactly what he did for us when we interviewed him. Rocky told us about his three new releases with fire and passion like no one else. He had good reason to do so - his booth was absolutely buzzing and if his 2021 releases perform anything like his 2020 releases, this is going to be a very special year. Rocky has had several very high-scoring cigars and is performing at the highest level to date in terms of what he is releasing.
