Juan Martinez, President of Joya de Nicaragua, is coming back to the Prime Time Show. 2020 was another huge year for Joya de Nicaragua and we’ll catch up on all of the happenings. Plus, we will talk about the upcoming Dos Cientos release coming out this summer.
We’ll learn a little more about Juan in our “Live True” segment. Finally, Aaron and Coop will recap some of the analytics they compiled on their respective brands’ cigar scoring.

It’s not easy being green – except when it comes to cigars.
Tonight we explore candela cigars. We will cover the background and history of candela cigars. We will look at candelas’ place in the premium cigar industry. Plus will also explore some of our favorite candela cigars we have smoked over the years.
In our second segment, we will look at the Tobacco Business Awards. We will predict who we think will win, who we would pick to win, and talk about who wasn’t even nominated.
Plus we will have our “One Must Go” and “Great Things are Happening Here” segments.

We are getting ready for the 2021 Battle of the Bands competition. Battle of the Bands is a bracket-style March Madness tournament where Dave and Coop each pick 16 artists, seed them, place them into brackets and you decide who should move on. We will go through each round on Twitter, until there is a winner from the Dave bracket and a winner from the Coop bracket. Then, Dave and Coop’s bracket winners will square off for who is the overall winner.
This year we are adding a new twist. Dave and Coop will hold a “draft” where they will select the 16 artists that will go into the bracket. Tonight’s show will see that draft take place!
For this show, Dave smokes the Powstanie SBC18 and Coop smokes his #1 Cigar of 2020, The American Toro.

We are getting ready for the 2021 Battle of the Bands competition. Sorry to disappoint you, but we won't be using a knife to show you opening up the mailing carton. Instead, we will be focusing on the 40 cigars included in the TGS Party in the Box. Yes - all 40 of them. The goal is to tell people more about what cigars are included. We'll give the background and the stories behind each of them.
