On Episode 9, of Prime Time Jukebox, we are proud to welcome Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Rick Nielsen and his son Erron to the show. Rick is the founder of Cheap Trick who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. We will all smoke some cigars and do a special show dedicated to one of the legendary bands in history.
In this interview, we will learn a lot of Rick’s legendary career. We will learn about music of Cheap Trick, and Rick will share some special stories and show us parts of his iconic guitar collection. We also will get some sample guitar chords from Rick. In addition, Erron will give us some thoughts of growing with a Dad as a Rock Star.
We are incredibly grateful for both Rick and Erron’s very generous time for this interview. It’s a show you will not want to miss.

Announcing the first ever Prime Time Jukebox “Battle of the Bands!”
It works like this. Dave and Coop have picked 16 musical artists. We seeded them from 1 to 16 and placed each of 16 teams into brackets – NCAA Tournament Style. Starting Monday, May 4th, 2020, we will have one matchup from Dave and one matchup from Coop. You will be able to vote for which artist you think should move on to the next round. We will go through each round on Twitter, until there is a winner from the Dave bracket and a winner from the Coop bracket. Then, Dave and Coop’s bracket winners will square off for who is the overall winner.
You will be able to participate in the voting on the @Cigar_Coop Twitter account, and we will be offering a $25.00 iTunes Gift Card to one lucky person. Each time you RETWEET THE MATCHUP POST WIITH THE HASHTAG #PTJ, you will be entered in the drawing. You can retweet as many matchups as you want!
Also, Dave and I will have Prime Time Jukebox Shows for the two winners of our individual bracket and the overall winner.

On Special Edition #74, Ram Rodriguez of El Artista joins us on the Special Edition side of the house.
El Artista is a factory best known for making a cigar for David “Big Papi” Ortiz, but its a factory that is known for making other brands. We will dive into all of those things and a whole lot more.
In addition, Bear and I revisit the Tabernacle CT 142 in our second round of the Aging Experiment on that cigar. Finally, we discuss the new operational procedures being implemented because of the COVID-19 pandemic by The Venetian Hotel. The Sands Expo Center is a part of the Venetian property and these procedures will undoubtedly will impact the 2020 PCA Trade Show. We'll take a closer look at these procedures and discuss what it means for the cigar industry.
